it can be rearranged like this
a2x2+b2x2+c2x2+d2x2 -2abx-bcx-cdx-dex+b2+c2+d2+e2 and then
(ax-b)2+(bx-c)2+(cx-d)2+(dx-e)2 =0
then x=b/a=c/b=d/c=e/d
now you can match your options
it gives they are in GP
