U should write the questions.

(a) E1 = (9 X 109) (1.2 X 10-9) (4) = 43.2 N/C

(b) Similarly, E2 = 64.8 N/C

On the Surface force on proton is F = kq2 / R2 ------------- (1)

(a) Let it is moved a distance 'r' from the surface such that the magnitude of force becomes 0.5 F.

So, 0.5 F = kq2 / ( R + r )2 ----------- (2)

Dividing (1) by (2), u get r = 0.414 R.

(b) Now notice that the tunnel is in the center, where force on proton will be zero because the ball has uniform negative charge density.

Sry Chithresh, But that's the wrong answer. The right answer is (d). Even i am thinking upon it. Let me know when u solve it.

Hey c i'll give u the best defination of electric current.

" Electric current is defined as the rate of transfer of charge from one side of the area to the other. "

If u wanna study more about it in detail refer to HC Verma - Concepts of Physics. BEST OF LUCK

This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

Borane is an important intermediate in the pyrolosis of diborane to produce higher boranes.

Boranes can act as ligands in coordination compounds.

Boranes can react to form hetero-boranes, e.g., carboranes or metalloboranes.

so that the image could be formed on the retina.  when the eye is looking at a distant object (at infinity), ciliary muscles are fully relaxed and eye lens is very thin ( or less convex ) and thus the focal length is maximum but the converging power is minimum. when the eye is looking at a nearby object, ciliary muscles get stretched and eye lens becomes thick ( or more convex ) and thus the focal length decreases but the converging power increases. This ability of the eye is referred to as accomodation.

BEST OF LUCK!

It could be bcoz see when u heat an object, the molecules in it starts moving randomly and not in any particular direction.

(a) Re(z) = 1, Im(z) = 2
(b) Re(z) = 1, -1 < Im(z) < 1
(c) Re(z) + Im(z) = 0
(d) None of these

Electrons are emitted by a hot filament and are accelerated by an electric field as shown in the figure. The two stops at the left ensure that the electron beam has a uniform cross-section. Which of the following is correct? ( PLZ EXPLAIN WITH PROPER RESONING, DON'T GIVE DIRECT ANSWERS)

(a) The speed of the electron is more at B than at A.

(b) The electric current is from left to right.

(c) The magnitude of the current is larger at B than at A.

(d) The current density is more at B than at A.

iTS A MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

It is said that when there is an electric current in a circuit, heat is developed in a resistance. Heat is defined as energy being transferred due to temperature difference. Is this statement under quotes technically correct?

Is work done by an ideal battery always equal to the thermal energy developed in electrical circuits? What happens if a capacitor is connected in the circuit? What if the battery is non-ideal?

So, using vector laws, F < [ (umg)2 + (mg)2 ] 1/2

So, (c) option is correct. [ remember the box is being pulled and not pushed ]. If its being pushed answer would be (b) bcoz frictional force would balance the applied force and box would not move.
