hi here is a test on mechanics which will help u to revise ur concepts..
plss have a look at it and ans the questions..

Marking scheme
+6 for right ans and -2 for wrong ..

result and ans will be displayed here only on 30th i.e. sunday..


1. A block of mass 4kg is kept over a rough horizontal surface.The cofficient of static friction between the block and the surface is 0.1.At t=0, 3m/s,velocity is imparted to the block and simultaneously -2N foce acts on it . its displacement in first 5 second is.

2.A body initially at rest, moves on rough horizontal circular road f radius r with a
constant tangential acceleration a.After time t body begins to slip. the correct relation for this instant is

3.A particle,moving with uniform speed v ,changes its dorection by an angle  theta   in time t .magnitude of average acceleration during this time is?.
 

4. A small sphere of diameter 2m is placed at rest near  the front end of a stationary truck of length 12m .AT time t=0,the truck start moving with a constant acceleration of 90m/s^2 . If the coefficient of friction  between the sphere
and suface of truck is 0.1.Find velocity of sphere just before it collides
with the rear end of truck...


5. A particle of mass 0.01kg moving horizontally with velocity 20m/s strike a
   stationary wedge ABC of mass 0.05kg with a velocity of 20m/s near the  apex   of  the wedge and comes to rest after collision.The wedge is free to move.Second collision of the particle with the wedge occurs at B. find AB.(SEE FIGURE)
