MATHS FEAR i am a dropper studying for iitjee 2010 this year i missed the cml jee 09 by 12 ranks only due to maths. i may have scored just 8-10 marks in maths and the rest marks arnd 180-190 iscored from PHY and CHEM. NOW wat to do i used to give 4 hrs everyday on maths still i dont seem to understand it. I cannot identify the subtle tricks how much i think. I dont see the solution instantly one day i was so pissed of that i spent arnd a week in cracking one AIEEE level question. Now this is the height of stupidity. Am i really stupid that i cannot understand maths. Maths is making all the difference in my rankings i could have easily got AIR - 4000 if my maths was not so weak . I am investing a lot of time in the subject but without any concrete results. PLEASE HELP ME HOW CAN I SCORE BETTER IN MATHS ALL THOSE WHO HAVE SCORED ARND 90 or 100 marks in jee 09. WHAT is the code to crack a subject like maths. PLEASE guys i need ur help i really want to score good this time arnd or i will lose all my hope. MY parents are counting but i cannot say this to them. I have always been a average scorer in maths for my performance this year are as follows iitjee09 EML-12 AIEEE- AIR 6322 BITSAT- 302 i have not taken admission anywhere and i am determined to crack iitjee next be it only by PHY and CHEM. PLEASE GIVE ME SOLUTION

first of all you have performed very good in all exams in so if you work hard this year than you will be definetly in iit with a very good rank now as your problem is about maths so first do ncert or rd sharma to know bascis and some practice now to uplift maths you can do maths series books of arihant they are brilliant and if you do them completly you will master jee mathematics try to solve problem on your own and see what is given and what to find slowly by practising you will devlop expertise in jee mathematics later join some test series for final touch

hey...no need to worry this much...look at ur positive side u scored 302 in BITS and 6322 rank in EEE all this means u are not that much bad at maths...u have done Questions in both of these exams in maths...SO JUST COOL DOWN plan ur time table ...Take a Q now work on it think why u r not able to solve it whether u dont know the formula or u dont know how to initilase the Q...In begnning just go for easy questions ..Take every problem as challange not as headache JUST FIGHT Wid problems.. and dont think that u r wrost in maths ..u r in much much much better position than others..der are others who r taking drop and r bad at thrice of subjects...so just BE CALM ...and start working on maths..consult ur teachers or joining some institution will help U A LOT...REMEMBERNOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE...so just pull up ur socks for JEE 2010 and give ur BEST...

see i wud only say .. that keep on practising ... don`t at all try difficult problems first .....start with easier ones.. and solve them with full concentration , don`t take tensionof time now.. JUST PRACTICE .. see maths is a subject ..which can be mastered by practcing... and later u`ll luv to do those maths tricky sums same was the case with me till 11th ....but later i start practicing abt 4 hrs .. IT WAS LIKE HELL YAAR ..(practicing ur most feared subject ) but later it bcome interesting and many answer came as intution too.! SO CHILL UR MIND AND FOCUS .. BEST OF LUCK

i've got air 576 in iitjee 2009 and what i suggest is you first complete some easy topics of mathematics.....for eg i bought coordinate geometry arihant and started from the chapter of circles( ia lready knew str lines and it is too long in tht book)....and then to the rest of conic sections.....read the theory very carefully.....then do the examples with the text and also the intext exercises ....believe me coordinate is very scoring and it does come in iit..................u should also do matrices and determinants very nicely.......then VERY IMP do vectors and 3d geometry...they are damn easy and very scoring....................................if u do these topics very very nicely it should take care of atleast 30-40 marks...................however do not neglect calculus and algebra...BEST OF LUCK!

first of all .. make ur basics strong as much as u can ,, then try some brain storming questions with complete solutions prpoperly step by step.. this willl help u developing a good strategy.. and practice as many questions as u can of different patterns.
