is it true that in iitjee all the questions would be of ncert level only......what i mean to say is that " IS THERE A PERFECT SURITY THAT NO QUESTION IN JEE( SPECIFICALLY) WOULD BE OUT OF WHATEVER THERE IS IN NCERT BOOKS????? .....in my friend's coaching many thing which are not in ncert books is taught even in physics( most of the things are not even iN H C VERMA) ...and his teacher says that its important ..is he correct????

i will give jee 2011.........i know that the level of the questions shall be a bit high but the concepts would be out of ncert books na?? plzz clear my doubt...

ncert buks r not bad.........dey wud clear ur basics........ but dey r not entire stdy stuff 4 iit..........u shud refer dem 2 hav a firm grip over ur basics....... but iit syllabus is obviously beyond dat......... once u finish off ncert......try understandin better concepts 4rm dc pandey (theory) phy, arihant chemistry,m l khanna-maths........ or ny reliable theory stdy material & den move 2 solv problms......... coz u cant solv iit problms unless n until u noe each n evry concept clearly.......... u can check wht m sayn is true o not...........aftr u finish ncert......try solvin level 2 problms of dc pandey or gud problms of hcv.......or past iit questn pprs....... u wud realize dat itz difficult 2 solv dem jus by referin ncert.......... datz da reason y we shud stdy sumthn else dan regular txtbuks.............................. der r difficult questions in jee........obviously not all r difficult but der r considerable tricky questns............ n u cant afford losing marks........ herez sumthn wch wud help u Difficulty Level Analysis for IIT JEE 2009 Physics Paper 1

3 questions----------- is everything of JEE physics in HCV?? IS EVERYTHING OF JEE MATHS IN M L KHANNA?? IS EVERYTHING OF JEE CHEM IN ARIHANT( ORG+INORG+PHYSICAL)??? because i am going to do these books after doing ncert??? one more thing please be practical------------------ IS IT POSSIBLE TO CRACK JEE IN 1 YEAR??? WITH A VERY GOOD RANK ( UNDER 100) ????? ......WHAT STEPS SHUD I TAKE TO DO IT.

i truly believe in the statement that " nothing will come out of ncert syllabus""..................plzz note i have written SYLLABUS not books because the questions would be based on the concepts given in ncert but their level of difficulty level may be high

mr raj asthana(aspirant).do u smtimes get out of ur mind or what.......earlier u said dat u have not started ur preparations nd now u dream of getting into top 100 of iit..........just study/.just dont build castles in d air //..........do smthing on d ground.nd regarding books..one particular book cannot be sufficient.....u have to keep on trying books...........nd no body is here a member of iit community.dat he will know whether which book the paper will come........ncert is only good to build concepts.iit is different and it is much higher....... plz dont consider me as rude........take a lesson from it........nd remain on d ground.........

yes ,... everything of JEE IN HCV AND EVERYTHING OF CHEM IN ARIHANT (ALL3) even pppl will say this is not true but i can assure u that ,,,,these books maybe not help u get in top 10 in country alone but they can easily take u to IIT with a good rank .....i.e abt 500 ..1000....or so ..........as simple as that ........  |

2 ans ur questns.......wel......... evrythnz in arihant(organic+inorganic+physicl)........... evrythinz in m.l.khanna....................but probs on hyperbola,ellipse r few............rest iz 5in..................... & as far as physicsz concernd...... hcv iz gr8 at problms.........but wont teach u complit theory.....................4 theory u hav 2 either refer dc pandey or halliday resnick-walkr............................ prefer dc pandey....................coz theory in it iz detail but 2 da point.....nly whteva z required in jee syllabus........... weras halliday wud xplain a lot..............dat detail wud eat ur precious tym................n such details r not required 4 jee.............
