hey evryone.. i am here just to clear ur misconceptions.. i am myself a student in vit university's cse branch!! so if u want to ask any questions regarding VIT university,ask me.. dont circulate.publicise and believe the articles which are written by losers!!! if u want direct answers along with proof,ask it to a student himself!! people are not fools to join vit.. in a time of recession when no it company was offering jobs.. vit university was able to place more than a 500 people for salaries above 3.5 lakhs p.a.. i think.this proof is enough..

but every time,,,they show ...there are 9000 seats ,,,,this year 13000.....andout ofthat only 500 are placed wat will the others do?? |

can you please tell how are placements of IT at VIT?Are they better than CSE or are slightly less than that.... is it better to take IT if you are JUST getting CSE....What is difference between IT and CSE.I am interested in CSE i got about 9.5k rank i may or may not get CSE(I am on border line of CSE)Should i take IT if I don't get CSE.Is it true that both IT and CSE have nearly same syllabus.Will i be allowed to participate in college events related to CSE if i take IT.Can you please give details of average AND Top placements of both CSE and IT.....Thanks...BTW know some frustrated ppl are spreading rumors about VIT. |

its not a good college ...wat i ve heard and am not at all. frustated......i didnt even given vit...getting 230+ in jee...........and if u dont get any good college..then go to vit...as even state cets have some really good coll.!!! |

ronak shut up baby...dnt say what you dn't know..i im gettin' 268 marks in jee 2010 accrding to fitjee solutions...still i say vit is a very gud college ahead of many NITs @ new IITs.. |

DO READ THIS ALSOhey i would like to say..........a govt engg. college is a govnt and pvt college r private college....they cannot be compared.........and we very well know private college first suck ur money and then give ur packages in which the exact money which u get per month is very less,.............moreover......most off the pvt colleges have contract wid the MNCs to take their student for 1 yr and then throw then outs...........ITS REALITY .....and one who donot belive it ......they comment that people burst out of frustation AND write wrong about vits or any pvt college.... |

every year. the same Sh!t nd rumours abt VIT traverses....... but to the kids.. who outta join VIT.. dude. they are prevailing on the top ranked colleges.... nd every1 knows that...nd hey.. that postion cant b achieved by corrupting .. u gt me? join if u think so.. dont join if u think so.... ull hear same crap abt every pvt college....up to you .. best of luck! |

my own bro is in vit.....n overall its a good university.. the correct rankings are placed according to campous selection infrastructure n many other things.. search on google if u want.. vit scores 13 out of 20 in terms of placement. highest is of iit delhi 19..n rest all colleges hv placements between 17 to 9.8,,,many hv 11 in terms of placement lots of nits hv 12.... koi bhi college se 100%placement nhn hota h..... plus may be waha music room chota ho.. but my bro too hv a band... he has even opened a company being in third year nly...called dvst..vit logo ws designed by him.. i myself went to vit in september-october last year.. they dont miss any special day guys...on second october there ws a good cultural fest... my bro is associated vid hla.(hindi literary association) n they organise many plays lyk.. ubharte sitare.. antakshari.. bluff master.. n many others.....the main concept there is the college authorities want u to join groups n come with new ideas of co-curricular activity...man it really works.. 3 years before my bro was shy.. now he loves the stage.. n there r scholarships for top 12 rankers of every semester worth 12000...its only uv in india with foreign acknowledgement.....its really much better than many nits |

@rahul shah- i agree to wat u told.. i myself got into vit in my first attempt.. my rank was 765.. secondly my score in jee was 201(not too good though),i was air5324.. wasnt getting anyting good in iit's.. secondly i wantd computer science and in nit allahabad,warangal, trichy and surathkal i wasnt getting cse at my rank of air 11,129.. so ijoined vit's cse.. |
