A circle of radius 3touches the y-axis and a circle of radius 2 units touches the first circle and x-axis( bothe the circles r in first quad.)

If the line joining the centres of the circles is equally inclined to the axis then find the equation of larger circle.

it touches y axis

C = f²

R = 3 = (g²+f²-c)^1/2

for circle 2

it touches x axis and circle 1

R = 2 = (G²+F²-C)^1/2

and it touches x axis C = G²

both tocuh each other externally hence::

distance between the center = sum of radii

make the equation of line passing thru the two centers hence::::m = 45⁰
