question not clear. pls type again. is the ques. like this: roots of  alaso tell wheter z here is complex number or only a variable.

(e)^-1/z^2 =e^-1-e^z^2=0 =>e^-1=e^z^2 =>taking log in both sides.. z^2=-1; let z=x+iy =>x+iy=i; x=0 and y=1
