hey frends i got mech in iit punjab..mechanical in bits pilani-pilani campus and electrical and electronics in delhi college of engineering(i live in delhi)..wat shud i take..
also keep into account dat i have to do mba later n dere r umteen coaching centrs in delhi for dat...
help..

but iit punjab ko chodna is some thing very hard due to brand name and becz of it's initial year in delhi...................but one thing is clear infrastructure takes time............................and it no boy khel to live ur two years just tfor it tag......neways i was from vm and my sir stirctly said to avoid new iit......as they may not contribute to it brannd name in future...........and it is all my personal opinion............ur choice..kam se kam apne view to present karo

i m confused..dats why m asking..dce has 3 advantages...near home and gud stream..and also mba coaching(later)..bits has two advantages...gud stream and bits has a higher brand name dan dce..n btw wat r u joining??

thek hai mba karna hai.aur mana delhi mein acchi faculty hai............but this fact is that.............ki sirf mba hi nahi kar sakte MS bhi acchi option hai...and MBA waala pont bits ke liye theek hai......but itna diifi. nahi hota
and u might consider mba after gaining some experince....and nsit is far more gud than......dce....study enviro type.......dce yaar main kehte hon ek baari nsit waalon se bhi baat karo.plz

no prblem wid dce also...and more replies...what more do u want to kknow...i have presented my view point.......and mech ke baad mech mein hi rehne chaihye........do try and respect ur branch.......to i think mech mein bhi scope hai .to mech is not bad branch but it is only that it is hotter now a day............................................but it may be that 4 yr down no body is giving damm abt it but that might be unlikely for a graduate from gud coll..........and mba ke liye delhi best hai

Well , BITS has got good coaching for MBA too.In Pilani , the Humanities Dept. takes spl coaching for GRE/CAT
At the Goa Campus , there is an IMS Coaching(The famous one) centre for CAT/GRE inside the campus.

i think its little too early to decide on the MBA aspect , you never know when you are fascinated to an entirely different aspect of higher studies
i don't think joining the new iit's will be a better option because neither there is any information about where these new iit's will be situated in thier respective states nor there is any information regarding any existing colleges in those states being converted to iit's you won't have the advantage of enjoying the iit brandname in these new iit's
well bits pilani mech is a good option primarily because of the brandname and also mechanical engineering is a very good branch to be in and yeah as far as my knowledge goes almost the same course is taught in the first two years and yeah the attendance rules are also not very strict so you can think of a branch change or try your luck at next year's jee
you have secured a very good rank in DCE but joining DCE at that rank is not a wise decision you must have gone for NSIT COE anyways whatever done is done and if you want to prefer DCE due to the commuting factor from your home it's perfectly fine
chose accordingly bits mech or DCE
