Hi All, since we have had this long and endles discussion on the cutoffs from various sources, we've done research form our end, and compiled the results that you guys have also added to. This is what has come out: | | Physics | Chemistry | Mathematics | | Career Point | 30 | 33 | 30 | | Last Year Cut-off | 26 | 30 | 19 | | Brilliant Tutorials | 180 out of 486 | | Narayana | 35-40% | | zee news | 32-34% | | FIITJEE | 180-190 | | Final Verdict | Average 35% in each | However I would to re-iterate and repost this post i had sent across earlier to you all. Getting into the cutoff charts and ranks is an easily doable thing. The only thing is that any sort of heuristic scenario will only create a lot of anxiety or over-confidence in people. you dont meet the marks we tell you,you spoil your future exams in trouble. you done well according to our predictions, you might not work hard enough for AIEEE. goIIT is all about facts, and that is why as a policy we have tried to keep away from any form of predictions/gestimations. Some of our experts are definitey telling and helping students gauge their marks, but that too is personal opinions. we just provide them with the facts we know of. so either ways its a bad idea to predict ranks at this point. its like relying on astrology. Believe me, I've been through this grind. Leave everything and focus on rest of your exams. yet again this is a personal opinion. However for JEE-AIEE we are trying not to give any predictions of our own in terms of rank predictions and cutoff info this year....though we are collecting data for the next year, which might help people. no point giving rank predictions or other such forms to confuse and misguide the gang which some people are doing. u want i can prepare 10 such tools, but they will be incorrect and complete heuristic... hence categorically asking expert panel to stay away from answering such queries.
hope you appreciate it..

knowing the predictions is good but i think so that not knowing is much better...... as its natural that we get either over confident or depressed either ways its going to affect other exams..................... so no need to think about them unti the final result from the IITs is given. |

Such data is more easier to obtain for standardized tests such as GRE, GMAT, SAT even CAT. The new pattern of IIT JEE will also help to mature these stats.
